4-6 hamburger patties (1/3 pound each, I recommend using lean meat like 93/7 so that there is not as much grease)
1 packet onion soup mix
1 jar beef gravy
8 ounces beef broth
1 onion cut into rings
Montreal Steak seasoning to taste
Directions
- Season burgers with Montreal steak seasoning and then place in bottom of crockpot (you can stack if they do not all fit on the bottom)
- Add 1 envelope onion soup mix on top of burgers.
- Pour 3/4 of the jar of beef gravy over the burgers (I like to save 1/4 of it for the gravy on the burgers when serving)
- Add 8 ounces beef broth on top.
- Top with sliced onions (can add mushrooms here too if desired)
- Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 5 hours.
- Warm up the remaining beef gravy and serve it over the burgers (you can also use the full jar in the crockpot and open a separate jar for serving over the burgers.)
