Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 package taco seasoning (or 2-3 Tbsp if you make your own)
1/2 cup water
1 cup cheddar cheese (more if desired)
2 cans of crescent rolls
Toppings if desired: tomatoes, lettuce, black beans, sour cream, queso, salsa, etc.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Brown 1 pound ground beef in skillet. Drain. Return to skillet.
- Add 1 packet taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water to the meat. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese to the beef mixture (save the other 1/2 cup for later).
- Open the crescent rolls and pull them apart into triangles. On a round pizza pan, arrange the rolls so that the point of the triangle is pointed outward (see picture). They will overlap some.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the larger part of the crescent rolls (see picture). Sprinkle the other 1/2 cup of cheese on top of the beef.
- Bring the point end of the triangle up and fold it over the other end pressing to secure it. Continue this around the entire ring until it is closed.
